Kai Health announced that it participated in the 15th Biennial ALPHA Conference 2026, held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from April 17 to 19, where it introduced its AI-based embryo analysis software, Vita Embryo.

The event brought together embryologists and reproductive medicine professionals from Europe and around the world. During the conference, Kai Health presented the key features of Vita Embryo and its potential applications in clinical practice, while also gathering broad feedback on the product from current users and prospective customers across multiple countries, including Europe. Based on these interactions, the company plans to further define partnership opportunities in the European market and accelerate its market entry and expansion strategy.

Vita Embryo is Kai Health’s AI-powered embryo analysis software, designed to support clinicians in embryo selection by providing image-based AI scores, including a fetal heartbeat development probability score, as well as report-generation functions. Kai Health previously completed the conformity assessment process for Vita Embryo under European medical device regulations and obtained CE MDR certification, laying the groundwork for its expansion across Europe.

In particular, the company’s quantitative segmentation model, which is currently being developed for research use, attracted strong interest from attendees at the event. The model is being developed to enable more quantitative analysis of key structures within embryo images, with the aim of broadening its potential applications in both research and clinical settings. Building on this, Kai Health plans to expand the foundation for related research while also exploring opportunities for product advancement and research collaboration.
