Kai Health participated in ESHRE 2026 in London, where it presented its AI-powered embryo analysis software, Vita Embryo. Its booth featured embryo scores, morphology assessment support, patient-facing reports, and a quantitative embryo analysis model.

Vita Embryo analyzes conventional microscope images and provides scores associated with fetal heartbeat development probability, along with embryo priority information. Its clinical application has been designated as a new health technology under Korea’s deferred-assessment pathway.

Kai Health delivered one oral and two poster presentations on embryo morphology, pregnancy outcomes, and AI-supported standardization of embryo assessment. A multicenter study conducted with Nova IVF Fertility, India’s largest fertility clinic network, drew particular attention.

The study compared embryo assessments and pregnancy outcomes before and after Vita Embryo was introduced across 217 treatment cycles at eight clinics. Clinical pregnancy rates, based on fetal heartbeat confirmation, were 52.9% before and 59.5% after implementation—a difference of 6.6 percentage points.

Agreement between embryologists and AI in Gardner grading also improved across blastocyst stage, inner cell mass, and trophectoderm, and tended to increase with longer use.

CEO Hyejun Lee said ESHRE reaffirmed demand for AI-based embryo assessment and that Kai Health will continue building clinical evidence through global collaboration.
