India’s largest fertility clinic network expects improved pregnancy outcomes with Kai Health’s AI-based Vita Embryo

Nova IVF Fertility, one of India’s leading fertility hospital networks, announced that it will adopt Vita Embryo, an AI-powered embryo analysis software developed by infertility AI company Kai Health. Vita Embryo is expected to be used across 120 IVF clinics in 65 cities throughout India.

Vita Embryo is a software solution that analyzes embryo images using AI to support clinicians’ decision-making. It is expected to help improve pregnancy outcomes and potentially reduce the number of IVF cycles required. In IVF treatment, selecting the embryo to transfer is a critical step. Traditionally, this process has relied heavily on subjective assessments by clinicians, but AI can provide additional information that may improve the accuracy and consistency of embryo selection.

According to the company, the AI can detect subtle patterns in embryo images that may be difficult to identify with the human eye, helping both patients and clinicians feel more confident about selecting the most suitable embryo.

Nova IVF Fertility performs more than 20,000 IVF procedures each year and is one of India’s largest fertility clinic chains, with over 120 fertility specialists and 150 researchers. Vita Embryo has already been deployed at 35 Nova IVF clinics, with plans to expand to all 120 clinics within the year.

Shobhit Agarwal, CEO of Nova IVF Fertility, noted that India is experiencing declining birth rates and a growing infertility burden. He said that adopting Kai Health’s AI solution is expected to support the selection of embryos with higher likelihood of implantation, thereby improving pregnancy outcomes, shortening time to pregnancy, and potentially reducing multiple pregnancies. He added that Nova IVF aims to provide this advanced technology to all patients visiting its clinics.

Hyejun Lee, CEO of Kai Health, said the adoption of its AI solution by Nova IVF Fertility will serve as an important milestone that accelerates Kai Health’s global expansion. She added that the company will continue partnering with major IVF networks worldwide to deliver technical excellence and strong clinical performance.
